Flexibility Gyn now offers 21st century fitness training
Vibration Training vibrates the muscles at a range of one and up to 60 Mhs. By holding simple positions, or by exercising on the moving platform, muscle strength is challenged with subsequent increase in muscle strength and core development. The vibration promotes improved tissue health with an increased blood flow. Movement further stimulates hormone production, increasing metabolism and reducing stress related hormones. This in turn leads to fat loss and weight reduction.
What are the benefits of whole body vibration training?
Muscular strength is increased
Exercise while exposing the body to vibration stimulus creates muscular growth similar to that achieves by power training using resistance equipment.
Bone mass density is increased
Studies have shown that vibration training increases trabecula bone density and increases blood flow, thereby strengthening bone density.
Fat loss is encouraged
Vibration training develops leaner muscle tissue. It increases the metabolic rate, resulting in higher calorific burn, in combination with an improvement in lymphatic drainage and blood circulation.
A reduction in cellulite is promoted
Cellulite is developed when the body retains fluids which cause the skin tissue to expand. Vibration training improves circulation and reduces cellulite.
Rehabilitation and therapy
Vibration training has an exceptional ability to reduce atrophy (muscle wastage) and increase the range of motion of the joints, thereby helping to regenerate tissue such as bone, tendons, muscles and fascia. It is ideal for the treatment of a wide range of physical ailments ranging from irritate tendons and sports injuries to osteoporosis and fibromyalgia.
